Please note; a credit card may be required when making reservations. This card is charged if you do not show up for your reservation without calling to cancel 48 hours in advance. Otherwise you and your guests may pay however you like when you visit.

Tea Time
Welcome to Rx Tea Time. Here you will find a prescription for a cup of tea and a relaxing tea room experience modeled after the Victorian era. We offer a selection of healthy teas that will refresh and heal your mind and soul. Reserve a tea time setting, choose a tea cup and enjoy a warm pot of tea with scones, Devonshire cream, and delicious fruit spreads that you will delight in sharing with your family and friends.

In the early 19 century, the 7th Dutchess of Bedford, Anna, experienced what she called "having that sinking feeling" during the late afternoon. Her prescripion was a pot of tea and a light snack taken privately in her boudoir. Soon, friends were invited to join her in the parlour and the garden. Come have afternoon tea with us.
